I actually began my quest for the perfect engagement ring sometime last January (2006). Early on I decided that I wanted to have an active role in making this dream ring a reality. So I did all the research I possibly could. I drenched my brain with all I could learn: crowns, girdles, and facets oh my! It was very overwhelming but I persevered. After I had done all my research I decided that I would give my business to either Whiteflash or Exceldiamonds.

 

 I knew that both vendors had a great reputation so I had to decide based on some important factors: 1)Diamond price, and 2) Ring quality. It turned out that Whiteflash had more diamonds in the range I was looking for and their prices for the A Cut Above line were more within my budget. After purchasing an A Cut Above diamond I had to decide what I wanted for the setting. I had always liked the Tiffany setting and Whiteflash had a replica but at the same time I had read all the great things everyone had to say about the Tiffany replica offered by Exceldiamonds. So I had to decide if I wanted to take the "safe" route and have Whiteflash do the setting for their own diamond, or take a "risk" and get the diamond and ship it to Barry. I wanted the absolute best and deep down I knew I would only get that with the Exceldiamonds Tiffany replica. So I began to converse with Barry almost daily. He was always courteous and patient, and never hesitated to answer any and all of my questions. After expressing all of my concerns, he assured me that everything would be ok, but that if I wasn't completely confident about sending the diamond, then consider it ok; there would be no hard feelings if I took my business elsewhere. I must say I was absolutely impressed and after speaking with him I had no worries that I was putting my diamond into very capable hands. Of course, I did still worry about the post office getting the diamond there safely and back... but I knew that Barry would take good care of my diamond. And he did!

 

The engagement ring couldn't have been more perfect. "Perfect" is actually the way my fiancee describes the ring every time we look at it. I know that I made a great choice in Whiteflash for the diamond, and Exceldiamonds for the setting. I would enthusiastically recommend both vendors for anyone looking to make an engagement ring purchase. I'm actually going back to Barry very soon to purchase the wedding band. I have no doubts that after we work together on that, I'll be right back here recommending them for wedding band purchases as well.
