Here is an e-mail we just received today from Scott and with photos attached!! ------------------------------------ Judah/Barry, I was just looking up some info for you guys to reference to a friend that's looking at rings/diamonds. And to my pleasant surprise, I found that you had a picture of Christina and I on your homepage! I wasn't sure what information I sent you originally - must have been a link to our wedding blog? In any case, I've attached some pics of the final ring. It was a custom design (by me) that Barnes Jewelers (of Oconomowoc, WI) put together for me. They had it developed in 3D CAD and then had a custom mold(s) made for it. The top crown (was done it two pieces) had to be redone a couple times because the size didn't end up quite right for the melee diamonds around the perimeter. But, I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. There are "sea blue" diamonds (not natural) on the side to signify our Cayman wedding. And, it was all set in platinum. Christina loved it, and I hope you guys do to! I've attached a few pics of the ring. The center stone is absolutely beautiful - going with SuperbCert was the best decision I made. We get asked all of the time, whether we'd be willing to drop our prices on any given item(s) in order to complete a sale. Assuredly, people are free to try and negotiate a discount, this is after all a Capitalistic society. Although we do offer a price match policy so that we are not undersold, we also take great pride in our unrivaled level of actual data and information which we provide to our clients. Moreover, the fact that we are a completely transparent company has a spill over effect on the way that we price our merchandise. Our desire is to place our best foot forward. All of our items are priced with a razor thin profit margin. We do not artificially inflate our prices in anticipation of a negotiation process, whereby we can drop the asking 'retail price' and make you feel like you got a great deal, while we come away with our originally intended profits. We respect the intelligence of our customers and do not wish to engage in these types of practices. Assuredly, this means that we will sometimes 'undercharge' on certain items. We are in the midst of designing a custom made replica, inspired by the famous Cartier Declaration Diamond Engagement Ring. Take a look at the CAD images we have put together of the this work in progress. There are a couple of things we are correcting, like the fact that the shoulder looks a tad bit low and the center looks a tad bit high. The final result should be exquisite.
