Loose Princess Cut Diamonds

The princess diamond cut combines the brilliance usually found in round stones with the distinctive grace of square-to-rectangular cuts. A recent innovation, the princess shape dazzles with its starburst or x-shaped facet pattern, while still leaving the crown of the diamond flat and open. Its sharp corners are usually contained in a four-pronged setting, alone or paired with other stones; alternatively, in wedding bands princess cut diamonds are often channeled into the band itself.
