- Find a piece of string.
- Wrap it around the approximate position on the finger where the ring will be. Make sure the string is taut.
- Use a marker to mark where the string overlaps, forming a complete circle.
- Measure the length from the starting end of the string to the pen mark using a ruler with a millimeter scale.
