At Excel Diamonds our primary focus is that you be 100% completely satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, if for any reason you want to return your loose diamond, diamond ring, or jewelry item, simply notify us within our timetable for returns and we will refund your money.

We issue a 100% refund on all loose diamonds, set diamonds, standard diamond rings, and jewelry items, less original shipping and insurance.


Returns on Custom made rings, Eternity rings, 
Tiffany Replica Rings, and Designer rings by Vatche and ROCHELLE, will be accepted for a 70% refund and less our original shipping and insurance costs. All Men’s Wedding bands from our store (including mens bands from designs by Vatche), are custom orders and are subject to a 70% refund.

Our custom made jewelry typically takes about 2 weeks to manufacture. All orders canceled after 1 week (of order placement) will be subject to the 70% refund even though the merchandise has not yet shipped.

We will not accept loose diamonds, rings, settings, bands, or jewelry items for a refund if there is any evidence of damage, manipulation, or wear on the item.

 

How It Works:

We give you a 15-day inspection period, starting from the day you receive your package. During this time, we encourage you to have you loose or set diamond evaluated and confirmed by a truly Independent Appraiser. We do not issue "appraisals" because it is unethical and a complete conflict of interest for a seller to provide in-house "appraisals" for his own merchandise.

 

Procedure For Returning Merchandise During Your 15-Day Examination Period

1. You must first call us (866-829-8600) or e-mail us at sales@exceldiamonds.com to request a RAN (Return Authorization Number). We will not accept a return without a visible RAN on the box.

 

 2. Place your item into a standard brown box and securely package. Boxes can be purchased for only a few dollars at any Post Office.

 

3. Your return should be mailed via Registered Mail and insured for its (original) full invoice value while it is in transit.

 

4. Send your package to our main office at:

5. Your item should arrive to us within 2-10 of shipment and depending on your location.

 

6. Merchandise that is returned to us for a refund using the aforementioned instructions (only), needs to be received by us within the 15-day return time frame in order to qualify for a refund - according to our stated policies. We will not accept items returned to us after the expiration of 15 days.

 

7. Returned merchandise must be undamaged and in "new and unused condition" to be acceptable for refund or exchange. Items showing obvious signs of wear or alteration by a jeweler other than Excel Diamonds will not be accepted . Rings sold without a center diamond that show signs of wear or altered by a Jeweler other than Exceldiamonds.com will not be accepted for a refund. In addition, any engagement ring setting sold without a center diamond may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

 

8. All refunds will be processed within seven days and done in the form of the original purchase method. Bank wires are refunded via company check.

 
 
 
Warranty Policy Information
 

Excel Diamonds cannot vouch for the integrity or quality of workmanship for any jeweler outside of our employ. Therefore, any of our jewelry which has been tampered with and serviced by outside jewelers shall void and nullify any applicable warranties.

 

If you have purchased your diamond and setting from us, we give you a Lifetime Guarantee on the quality of our rings (and jewelry), providing that we did the actual setting. Subsequent work on your ring, including and limited to polishing and routine servicing, will be done free of charge. This warranty does NOT cover any and all damages related to and as a result of typical 'wear and tear' which will be fixed at a cost of labor and materials. In all instances, the customer shall be responsible for round trip shipping.
