After dating for over a year and a half I had no doubt that she is the one. So I started searching for a diamond. Now over three months later I finally found the diamond for her. Wow is it hard to keep that secret for so long.
Last Sat. I took my lovely lady to MD’s Patapsaco State park. The park has many trails; one in particular is a beautiful trail that follows the Patapsaco River for 5 miles. It was a beautiful day probably the last one of the season before the cold sets in. The ring arrived that morning at my parent’s house. First look at the ring was stunning. It’s gorgeous and even exceeded my expectations. I drove home to gather the lucky lady and I was very anxious. Keep in mind we are late to every event we attend so I was trying to rush the unrushable and that is no easy task. We finally made it out the door and she was oblivious. At the park we start at about the halfway point on the trail and walk to the pedestrian suspension bridge that crosses the river. As she’s looking down at the river, I tapped her on the shoulder. She turned and looked at me holding the ring. Her eyes were bright and her hands were trembling. Before I could even ask she said “Yes”. After a few tears, we walked half the trail and I explained to her how long I’ve been keeping this secret. I let her know that I even had to call in a few favors from her parents to keep her occupied so I could go to NY to view the Diamond.
I would like to thank Judah and Berry at Superbcert/Excel Diamonds. When I started researching diamonds I was overwhelmed. I could not believe the education I needed to make this decision. The more I learned the harder the decision became. I visited as many local shops as possible to get used to looking at diamonds. I read as much as I could and talked to everyone I could. I was surprised to find out how misleading some of these people could be. A few were even pushy and over opinionated. When I came across Judah I was pleasantly surprised to find him offering information that is as unbiased as you will find in the industry. When he did give me his opinion he asked if he may do so. My decision was between 3 diamonds so being three hours away I decided to make the trip to view them in person. Berry really sat back and made me choose without persuading me on one particular diamond. That was a first. Judah really helped me find the exact setting I was looking for. I must say the setting and diamond turned out better than I had hoped. I feel they really compliment each other. Thank you Judah for sending everything overnight, it arrived Sat. around 9 am. The day turned out to be truly amazing in every aspect.

Sorry for the poor picture. It was taken at night with only the low light of the bedroom. Let my tell you this diamond is eye clean, clear and truly does sparkle in every light. She loves looking at it and I catch her all the time.
