I spent a month and a half researching my stone.

I wanted to buy my fiance the best 1ct princess stone I could for $4000. After reading through the Diamondtalk.com forum here, I educated myself and felt like I was ready for anything and that I could analyze some numbers and find the best stone for the best price. Well I was looking for a princess cut so the numbers ended up doing me no good. I decided that besides seeing the stone perform in person, the next best thing was a Gemex BScope. I came to realize this wasn't even the best indicator. So I researched the vendors on this forum and contacted a couple of them.

By far Barry had the best customer service. The others seemed like they weren't interested in my business because they didn't directly answer my questions. I looked through Barry's site and found an acceptable stone and email Barry about it and instantly received more information than I could handle - and it was a Sunday night! I spoke to Barry the next day for 30 minutes and knew right then and there I was buying the stone from Superbcert. Barry's patience with my questions and calming of my fears of spending $4K on something sight unseen astounded me. I'm glad to see there are still people with a sense of customer service.
